When its come to this holy month of Ramadan, the usual think that will pop up in your mind might be where to eat and what to eat for break-fasting. Well if you are from Gombak or nearby it you can head to Restaurant Nelayan Gombak for traditional Malay buffet spread. Restaurant Nelayan Gombak was formerly known as Restaurant Nelayan Titiwangsa and famous as the first floating restaurant and also their steamboat menus. Now there are locating in Batu 8, Gombak and also under new management. The new location has bigger space and better facilities than the previous one.
CHEAP RAMADAN BUFFET
Why its cheap? Well with more than 100 menus consisting from appetizer to dessert and all that you can get only at RM49.90 ! Plus they have a very big space for Solat/praying and they also organizing Solat Terawih for their guest and also for the people nearby. The food selection are pretty okay for me, and the taste are quite good but not amazing. This is reasonable for the price you pay and for sure you will get full by the end of it. Oh the traditional kuih/dessert is really delicious, i love it.
While you’re eating and enjoying the food, you’ll also be entertain by live busker band. Overall i give this restaurant a solid 6 out of 10. The food is average and some of the menu are above average like the traditional kuih and the lemon chicken. But the facilities is pretty good. Note the rating is based on my personal taste maybe to other its greater. So if you want to try it yourself here is the price list.
