Earlier this month i saw Aldy with his newly bought camera. I ask him what is the model of camera that you use, and he say he bought the Sony A6000. I say that’s really nice and i think we should go out and do some photo outing together. I ask Aldy what kind of photography genre he like and he say he like street photography. “Splendid” since i also love street photography so i decide to bring him out for a photo-walk.

So on 11 February 2017 , we decide to explore KL. At first i planned to meet him around 8 am but in the morning i got very bad stomachache so i delay the meet up to 9 am. Β This is the first time i ride the new MRT from Kota Damansara to Semantan and took the shuttle bus to KL Sentral. Since its my first time doing that finally i arrived and the Pasar Seni station around 9.30 am. I try look around the station for Aldy but couldn’t find him so i decided to go down and look around for him. When i was at the ground he still at the station so we meet up at the bus station nearby.

Our first route for this photo-walk is around Petaling Street / Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. Even though its already late morning around 10 am i can still see less people and there are many shop just about to open. So there is still some action going on. I wish i could be there a little earlier. Well enough bantering lets check the photos that i manage to catch that day.

Photo-walk KL. (Petaling Street)

Walking to Pavilion.

So after some good session in Petaling street and a plate of nasi kandar for brunch ( i’m so hungry, i didn’t get breakfast earlier) i suggested to Aldy to walk to Bukit Bintang. It took around 15-30 minutes to reach Bukit Bintang, i think it was longer for us since i only use flipper at that time (crying in pain), so don’t ever wear flipper if you gonna do photo-walk, you’ll definitely regret it by the end of the day LOL! I managed to get some more photos on this route.

More portraiture by request lol.

Second Part of the Day.

Its getting to hot in the afternoon and i pretty much tired of walking since i’m really not fit ( this is the punishment of skipping doing exercise for so long ) so we decide to head back to Aldy’s for some rest and photo review. Before we go back we met Pao for lunch ( again for me πŸ˜› ) at the nearby mall. After some rest we decide to shoot more streets scene at Brickfields this time around 5 pm, but to our disappointment its very cloudy that day and the sun is shy away behind the cloud. So we can’t get the dramatic golden hour effect, but for learning purposes we still go and complete our walk. But one thing for sure Brickfields is full of color i love it! After Brickfields we go to Bukit Bintang for some light trail but i totally forgot to bring a tripod and Aldy didn’t have one so i just take more street photo’s at the night time over there.

“I hope you enjoy this post. I will definitely do this next months to come! “
